One of the key promoter of our organization is Late. Hon. Mrs. Ushatai Deval. School has seen constant active development in her tenure of work.

Ushatai is the driving force of Adarsh Shikshan Mandal , who took the institute to such great heights.

A true father figure to Adarsh Shikshan Mandal.

Ushatai was a woman of substance , she has also worked as Panch in Miraj Lok Nyayalay, Miraj Taluka Legal Consultants , Advisor in ‘Southern Central Railway- Catering Committee’ , worked as Miraj city corporate(1991-95), Founder & Secretary of Innerwheel club sangli zone, Won the award “Aamhi Udyogini”, Honored by MIRAJ BHUSHAN award.

Education- B.A.(Maths), M.A.(Marathi), Indology(Certified Course), Gardening(Certified Course), Child Education Teacher(Certified Course), Bal Bhavan Activity Instructor Course.

Mandatai has been one of the pioneers of Adarsh Shikshan Mandal,Miraj. Being a well educated and versatile person, she is always keen about bringing new advanced educational methods in the Institute.

She has born in Pethe family at Villeparle.And got the heritage of social & educational reform from her Grand Father & Uncle.

She become a member of Adarsh Shikshan Mandal in 1963 and took a responsibility as a Treasurer and continued till 1992.This entire span of time was one of the important years in the history of Mandal development of Killabhag Campus Foundation & the development of Dindives Campus, acquisition of Killabhag playground are few examples of visionary works.

She shows immense interest in cultural, social & educational reforms in school level.

During her stay at Pune, She became a part of “Aksharnandan Shala”. She was associated with the school right from its foundation and became a volunteer and worked honorary in various student and parenting related projects.From 1986,She came in contact with Lilatai Patil and started some educational projects in association with “Shrujan Anand”.

Today at her age of ……..,she takes active part in various environmental projects for social awareness.

Her one of the ambitious project is “Zero Garbage Project”. She conducts workshops to train people to exercise zero garbage technique.

She works so hard to make her personal interest benefit to the society.

Gardening, kitchen garden, orientation programs for awareness about plantation and preservation of various speces. Butterfly project, Waste management verony composting are some of the projects. She has initiated in the vicinity of Miraj town. Following are the programs that she conducted successfully under the banner Adarsh Shikshan Mandal.

• Handwriting and Calligraphy workshops for Teachers and students
• Refresher course for montasory teachers in Sangli and Miraj
• Child theatre movement under the direction of Sudha Karamarkar
• A well known child theatre activist
• Being a member of Ineerwheel club,A Miraj Vidyarthi Sangh, she conducted various workshops, orientations and exhibitions.

Mandatai has played a remarkable roll in the development of Schools under the guidance of Adarsh Shikshan Mandal.

Such an active, aware, cheerful and soft spoken personality of Mandatai is a guide and mentor for the young generation in true sense.

A great visionary Nalutai was born in Gadgil family- a well known jewelry brand in Maharashtra and married to Mr.Arvind Marathe son of Govind Rao Marathe, Pioneer of Miraj Industrial Istate.She groomed herself in all sense in to the company od Mr.Arvind Rao Marathe continued with the inheritance of social work.She has appeared various drawing exams hold by J.J. School of art and also took training of vocal music from Vinayakbuva Patwardhan.

Nalutai joined Adarsh Shikshan Mandal in the year 1964. After being a part of Mandal, she started served as a Secretary of Mandal for about 6 years and become treasurer in year 1998 and continued till 2009.

Under the guidance of Ushatai and Mandatai, she took up new school projects and contributed for the infrastructural development of Killa Bhag and Dindi Ves premises/Campus. Adarsh Shikshan Mandir(Primary), Ideal English School, Semi-English School and Ideal Smart School are the milestones projects of Mandal came in existence during these years.

Infrastructural development,constructions,maintainance,finance management are structured and systemized by her in such way that she is considered to be a guide in the school management systems.Many young management student seek her advise and tranings for their projects.

A great visionary Nalutai has always sensed the futuristic needs prepare herself beforehand to bring in advanced developments in educational projects held by Mandal.

Being much ahead of time, her confident decisions have the light of the day to many ambitious projects of the Mandal.

She contributed to make the Adarsh Shikshan Mandal established as the 1st educational institutes in the city of Miraj to introduce modern educational methods.

She has been active member of Mandal for near than 40 years.

Today, At the age of 77, she still looks after all the important tasks of Mandal and gives her valuable guidance to the existing committee.

Her aesthetic and artistic interests keep herself busy in painting and nature drawing.

She also participated in many social activities of Innerwheel club, Navyug Mahila Mandal, Sangli Gymkhana.

She conducted many flower decoration and painting exhibitions.

Nalutai worked as a counseller in the management committee of Woman’s Educational Society from year 2009-2014.

Mrs. Lalita Sowani joined Adarsh Shikshan mandal in year 1964. She completed her formal education in old rernec metric 7th std.

Further she completed Montessori training course in Pune.

She served as teacher in Adarsh Balak Mandir right from the first year of its registration. 10 years later joining in the school she appeared her metric & completed D.Ed. course. She introduced many innovated learning methodologies & concepts on primary level which are still practiced in the school.

Presently she looks after the co-curricular activities conducted on Adarsh Balak Mandir & Adarsh Shikshan Mandir (Primary).

She has arrange many events for fund raising purpose & also held competitions for students & parents. She has been rewarded as “Adarsh Shikshak” in year 1976-1977. She promoted many young ladies to learn & educate themselves & complete the educational training programs & introduced them in the field of teaching.

She one of the pioneers of the Institute who activity work on mandal level as well as day to day teaching learning processes.

She has literally groomed & developed number of generations. And student still remember her for her discipline, interactive learning methods & innovative teaching programs. She implemented on Primary level students.

Being so active even today she continues to guide the young generation of the teachers in the institute.
